Echoes of the Empty Seat

ART MUMBAI 2025 hosts the first ever performance of ‘Echoes of the Empty Seat’, which examines the human connection to the chair, a repository of our physical experiences, seating everyone from lofty kings on ornate thrones to weary travellers on hard wooden benches. Omaggio brings an interdisciplinary art interpretation of this idea, blending elements of classical Kathak and theatre into their aerial and circus-based dance performance.
Symphony Orchestra of India Music Academy

The impressive Symphony Orchestra of India Music Academy brings the next generation of classical music prodigies to the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, where guests can enjoy an eclectic repertoire of classical compositions.
Dharavi Rocks

Dharavi Rocks is remixing India’s percussion scene, using recycled material to create unique beats and an innovative sound. Children and young adults are inspired in the bylanes of Dharavi to create inspired, energetic jam sessions that will have guests tapping their feet and clapping along.
Red, by John Logan

Why do we make art? Mark Rothko’s character attempts to answer this question in John Logan’s ‘Red’, a play about his process in creating the ‘Seagram’ murals for the Four Seasons Hotel in New York. Performed by Daniel Owen D’souza and Vikram Kapadia, the play explores the tensions between art, its commercialization and the morality linking the two.
