The ART MUMBAI Collective is ART MUMBAI’s in-house store—hosting a curation of art-forward, design-focused, craft-centric brands that are unique to India. It brings the concept of collection outside of the hangars— building an accessible entry point for collectors to pick up beautiful items that converge beauty and function.
This year the ART MUMBAI Collective will include:
House House, founded by Ayesha Mangaldas and Amaya Mangaldas, contemporises traditional craft practices for the modern home, working with artisans from across the country to create and curate handmade homeware—from handwoven pieces and Madurkathi mats to wooden and stone tabletop decor.
Casa Creta, founded by Urmi Dadlani, takes the ancient art of ceramics into the 21st century, by using 3D-printing technology to create ceramic vases and pots, made in one continuous motion of the printer. Casa Creta’s ceramics exist at the confluence of technology and craft.
Unnamra, founded by Priti Warrier, brings art and craft into the everyday with handmade, design-focussed homeware—from dining, decor to kitchen accessories and wellness. Unnamra redefines luxury through sustainability and collaborations with artisans.
Evoke London collaborates with artisans, designers and artists from across the world to curate one-of-a-kind collections of pottery and furniture. With a sister space in Bangalore, Studio KAASH, Evoke London celebrates the confluence of contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship.
Nandita Jhaveri embodies India’s living heritage of jewelry with her collection of pieces that are both traditional and contemporary—from modern, traditional and folk jewelry, Nandita Jhaveri has something for everyone.
A boutique paperie founded by Anu Tibrewala and Ambika Singhania Kothari, Paperfields creates luxury stationery and paper products inspired by the world around them, from the shifting seasons to Mumbai’s Art Deco architecture. Paperfields’ products can be personalised for any person or occasion and sit at the intersection between form, function and design.
The ART MUMBAI Collective aims to present a range of products and entry points in terms of collection. It is unintimated and rooted in the recognition that artful thinking can be applied to products across all areas of life.
